A popular restaurant in Italy had their menu already translated and printed into Italian and English. The owner contacted us stating that they wanted us to review their menu as their servers had reported that most of their American and British clientele had asked what exactly they were referring to by “meat” in all of their dishes. Upon an initial review of their menu, we were able to determine that all “steak”, “fish”, and “poultry” dishes were translated as “meat”. We were also able to determine that several of the spices and food descriptions were not accurately translated. In addition, the names of some wines were also translated, when they should have remained in their original language. The owner has communicated to us that his clientele no longer ask any questions related to the food itself and that he is very happy with the outcome of our services.
