What if I no longer need a document translated and I already placed the order?

If we have already started translating your document, we will only charge you for the number of words we have translated. If you have paid in full for the translation, we will refund the remaining amount of your payment and will send you the portion of the translation we completed. I you provided a valid Purchase Order, we will issue an invoice for the amount translated.

What is a Translation Memory?

A translation memory is a database in which previously translated segments are stored. Translation Memories can only be created by using specialized software.

What are the benefits of using a Translation Memory?

A translation memory is not going to make any sense to you if you don’t own the software. However, by requesting us to create a translation memory you will be benefited in several ways:

• Your document will have consistent terminology – you will not see an identical segment translated in different ways within your document

• It accelerates the translation process. Since repetitive segments only need to be translated once, the overall turnaround will be faster

• Cost reduction: due to the fact that repetitive content for certain long-term projects, such as manuals, contracts, etc. has already been translated, you will save time and money by choosing to create/use a translation memory
